COPSEMAR is a cooperative of second degree that joins most of the cooperatives rice dealers of Spain with a common objective: to produce seeds of rice of great quality with the best price of the market.

This organization was born in 1986 like heiress of the Service of Seeds of the Federation of Agriculturists
Rice dealers of Spain, created in 1966 counting, therefore, with one expanded experience in the sector, which assures a great effectiveness.

The multiplication of the seed is made by means of two systems:

  • Parcels cultivated directly by the organization, where the first generations take place of each variety
  • Parcels cultivated by collaborating agriculturists, partners of some cooperatives integrated in the organization that make the multiplication of the last generations of each variety, following the practical standards dictated by the company.
After harvesting and drying, it is come to the operations of selection, packaging and labeled of the seed in the COPSEMAR warehouses following the effective norm and even surpassing it to guarantee a superior quality.

The operations of taking samples and later analysis of the lots of seed conducted by Official services of each community where the seed is produced, constitute a last one control of the produced seed.
